DarkRoom 3D: Cine Optical FX does not collect, store or share any data. Everything happens locally on your device.
None. We do not gather personal details, usage statistics, device identifiers, or your videos and photos.
Since we hold no information, we do not use it, analyze it, profile you with it or sell it. Your footage is processed on-device only to apply the lens effects you choose.
Videos and photos are rendered locally and exported to your Camera Roll. Nothing is uploaded and there is no cloud storage on our side.
The app contains no analytics, advertising networks or trackers, and it links to no outside services.
Because all rendering runs on your iPhone with Metal, your media never travels over a network. Motion sensor readings from the gyroscope are used live to move flares and are never recorded.
The app is friendly to families and consistent with COPPA principles: we collect no data from anyone, including children.
There are no accounts to create. To remove any app-held settings, simply uninstall the app. Exported files remain in your Camera Roll for you to manage.
If the app ever changes how it works, we will update this page and its effective date. Our commitment to on-device processing stays the same.
